In her position as one of RILA’s legal advocates, Emily primarily works on Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJ) cases and represents clients in immigration court.

Since joining RILA in 2018, she has applied her degrees in International Relations, Spanish, and Human Rights to protect vulnerable youth who have already experienced so much trauma and loss.

Emily’s passion for helping clients build a safe life in the U.S. is rooted the Biblical call to serve the orphan, the widow, and the foreigner, perfectly aligning with RILA’s vision for caring for the sojourner.
