Many of you wonder how you can help RILA staff and clients and are asking what it’s like for us right now.  We are deeply affected by the events in Minneapolis.

Every part of my job at RILA is significant, and I am lucky to join clients in their immigration journey.

RILA staff believe that same freedom—to live without fear and to hope for a flourishing future—should be available to all, not just a few.

Sharing in the clients’ stories and supporting clients on their journey is a sacred trust; it is a privilege and immensely humbling.

RILA has helped me make this country my home and the place my future belongs to. I have promised myself to contribute back with service to the community I belong to and to keep working hard for my dreams.

I think often these days about God’s justice and how it is not always apparent in the present.  It is so tough to sit in a place of helplessness and frustration watching injustice seemingly prevail.  But I believe that God sees and will one day make all things right.
