Mariana is a native Spanish speaker and was born in Cali, Colombia. She immigrated to Fairfax, Virginia at a young age and has been raised in the Northern Virginia region since.

Mariana graduated from the University of Virginia with a double major in Public Policy and Global Development Studies. She is passionate about working for and within the immigrant community to further RILA's mission of providing pro bono legal services for the most vulnerable.
