Michele oversees RILA’s Special Immigrant Juvenile practice area. And as a Department of Justice accredited representative, she helps our clients file asylum petitions, prepare for their final merits hearings and apply for legal permanent residence.

Michele joined RILA in 2020 after serving as the assistant director at the Mother of Light Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the impoverished population in Alexandria.

Like many of her co-workers, Michele is most passionate about ensuring that clients can share their stories and feel heard, loved, and supported. She believes that every client should feel respected, and no one should face the immigration system alone, especially children.
